Lavender was grown extensively in Ojai for a long time before an inn of the same name sprouted up. The Lavender Inn is a charming villa, with seven still more charming rooms and an individual cottage including living room, bedroom, private bath, kitchenette and private courtyard to let. Built in 1874, it boasts of old oak trees, beautiful lawns and Native American roots. The decor and furnishings strike the right balance between an antique outlook and a contemporary one: modern amenities don’t take a backseat at this place! With its colorful and shaded garden, The Lavender Inn continues to be a popular venue for weddings and anniversaries decades afterwards.
